Battle Cry was born in 1998 (technically in 1996 under the name "SOS") in Fargo,
ND. Though it has had some long distance members in the past (Trista Whitman, Amanda Reed and Angela Cafiero), it's always
consisted of me as far as recording. After "The Odyssey" the other "members" left and since then I go forward as solo. "02
BC" was released in 2001 spawning growth and varience. Later in 2001, "Cover Mode", a Depeche Mode tribute album came
out which was half recorded during the sessions for the last album. In 2003, twin acoustic cover albums "Demo 2" and
"Demo 2.1" filled in gaps as I began writing for the third album. Eventually, in 2004, reissues of the first two albums for
CD format were revamped and released, again filling in the gap. In December 2004, I finally completed an album I thought might
never be finished. The third BC album, The Year After. Vastly different from the previous two albums, it took things to an
entirely new level. Breaking any boundaries or preconceptions the first two might've given. I think on this one, I truly stepped
forward to make this project, not only strong in melody, but diverse and free as well. BC consists of self destributed music,
so it doesn't go out to many people, but screw it. Might as well have fun right?
